Family Portraits
Judy Weiser, psychologist and art therapist, said this on the importance of family photos: โIt lets children learn who they are and where they fit. When a child sees a family portrait, they say to themselves: โThese people have me as part of what they are, thatโs why I belong here. This is where I come from.โโ What better reason to make some family portraits together?
Katy has been our child & family photographer for years. She is experienced and well-rounded, but Iโd have to say her greatest strength is taking your creative vision, no matter how vague, and turning it into something better than you could have ever imagined. I am always so happy with her work and the beautiful memories she captures.
We truly enjoyed our experience with Katy at Icarus Photography. Not only did she take beautiful photos of our family that we will treasure forever, she did a great job of creating a relaxed and natural atmosphere for my husband, two young sons, and myself. Katy is flexible and especially patient and kind in working with children. We are looking forward to our next photo shoot!
